Conventional AutoCAD drawings of shapes may be uploaded into Inventor to facilitate, “Sketching” profiles of extrusions.

Linkages move, pistons reciprocate, gears and cams rotate in Inventor.

AutoCAD 2009 list price is approximately $3,000.
