Cold-formed steel has been widely used in building construction, from residential houses to industrial buildings. This two-hour course discusses the manufacturing process of cold-formed steel, the fundamental theories of cold-formed steel design, the advantages of cold-formed steel over other construction materials, cold-formed steel applications in today's construction market, and the connection methods.
This course includes a multiple-choice quiz at the end, which is designed to enhance the understanding of course materials.
This course is registered with AIA/CES as a continuing education course for architects, and qualifies for Health, Safety, and Welfare (HSW) credits. Courses registered with AIA/CES are acceptable to all state licensing boards for architects.
