- Know also the basic comprehension of the terms such as, paraffins, oleofins, naphthenes, and aromatics;
- Know the minimum concepts of intermediate products that include the alkylates, isomerates, reformate, cat gas, hydrocracker gas, and coker gas.
- Knowledge of specific products, such as, benzene, pentane, cyclohexane, hexane, heptane,etc.; Understand what means isooctane, acetone, and diethyl ether that are all options to gasoline production and ethanol/water mixture;
- Know the minimum concepts of cracking, hydrocracking, alkylation, reforming, isomeration, etc.;
- Know and understand the meaning of column packings, trays, etc.
