Call for Online Course Providers (Instructors)
PDHonline.org is an
approved online continuing education sponsor for engineers and architects.
We offer generous revenue sharing plan (30% of the gross revenue) to encourage
professional engineers and engineering educators to become PDHonline course providers
(instructors). As a PDHonline course provider, you will be treated as an independent
consultant, which effectively enables you to establish your own lifelong
consulting business.
By working with PDHonline.org you can also pass on some of the knowledge
you have gained over the years for the benefit of all engineers and architects.
At the same time, you are helping your fellow engineers fulfill their continuing
education needs in the most cost-effective, yet flexible, manner. In addition,
you can take any PDHonline courses at special discounted rate as a PDHonline
course provider.
As long as your topics are of educational
value to the practicing engineers, you are invited to become a PDHonline
course provider. You can either provide the entire lecture notes or utilize the technical
resources already available on the Internet.
The goal of PDHonline.org is to
establish online courses on a variety of technical, management and regulatory
topics in every engineering field. PDHonline.org relies solely on the
contribution of the volunteer course providers to maintain the versatility and high quality
of the online courses.
Unlike the traditional technical articles
that appear in only one issue of a magazine or journal with a limited number
in circulation, your PDHonline courses can remain online for as long as they
are updated to reflect the recent advance in engineering technology. Furthermore,
your online courses can reach engineers over all the world 24 hours a day, 7
days a week through the information superhighway. In fact, your online courses
could become a living engineering literature if you update them periodically.
There are no other publishing forms that can be more easily updated than your
online courses because of the Internet technology.
We accept only the electronic version of
the course materials. For details on how to prepare PDHonline course materials,
click on Online
Course Writing Guidelines.
At the time your course materials are accepted
for publication on PDHonline.org, you will be sent a letter of acceptance
and a contract agreement between you and PDHonline.org. Your courses will be
published on the PDHonline websites,
earning you revenue and recognition each time they are purchased. We
will do all of the course publishing, advertising, marketing, promotion, and
administration for you at no charge.
