It covers the science, technology, and economics behind key renewable sources such as solar, wind, hydro, biomass, and geothermal, as well as the role of energy efficiency and storage. Learners will explore the full lifecycle of renewable energy projects - from planning and financing to construction and grid integration - while gaining insight into market dynamics, regulatory frameworks, and the impact of the Inflation Reduction Act (IRA). The course also addresses pressing challenges, including permitting, transmission, supply chains, and equity in energy access. This course includes a multiple-choice quiz at the end, which is designed to enhance the understanding of the course materials.
