Workplace safety is a very important consideration for all projects. Engineers, architects, and land surveyors must be aware of how to recognize and prevent possible hazards taking place on construction sites. The materials presented in this course cover the most prevalent but also most preventable workplace hazards in four categories: confined spaces, falls, electrical power, and trenching/excavation. Each category will have an overview, a description of the standards, and then a real-world case study exemplifying the standards. This course is the perfect introduction to OSHA safety standards for anyone who is involved in the design and construction industries.
