This course will provide the fundamentals of roadway signage for use in the design of roadway signing projects. It covers the common practices of the U.S. Department of Transportation Federal Highway Administration Manual on Uniform Traffic Control Devices (MUTCD) for design and installation of roadway signage. In addition, the most commonly used regulatory, warning, guide, service, recreational and emergency signs are discussed in detail.
This course includes a multiple-choice quiz at the end, which is designed to enhance the understanding of the course materials.
