Learning Units (Hours)
Warren T. Jones. Jr., Ph.D.
Now that you have been introduced to the severity of impending climate change and have been versed on where and how to invest with the growing coalition of international organizations, nations, states, cities, and corporations that have developed a series of plans to transition into a zero net anthropogenic greenhouse gas (GHGs) system by midcentury, while limiting the global temperature increase to significantly less than two degrees Celsius, this eight-hour course describes the four priority social and economic overarching goals that guide and evaluate the needed changes and also evaluates policies at the federal level that the nation could adopt to achieve the five technological actions reviewed in the previous course, Accelerating Decarbonization of the U.S. Energy System, Volume II.
This course includes a multiple-choice quiz at the end, which is designed to enhance the understanding of the course materials.
