This course examines 12 modern engineering landmarks, including bridges, tunnels, dams, coastal barriers, supertall buildings, and advanced facilities. Participants will learn how these complex projects are planned, designed, constructed, commissioned, and operated throughout their life cycle. Emphasis is placed on systems thinking—integrating safety, monitoring, operations and maintenance, and resilience to achieve reliable long-term performance.
This course includes a multiple-choice quiz at the end, which is designed to enhance the understanding of the course materials.
