This is a 4-hour course about hydro-electric power plants. Hydroelectric power is the largest renewable energy source in use today. There are several types of hydroelectric power plants from impoundment facilities with dams and large reservoirs to marine energy systems that use the ebb and flow of ocean tides to generate power.
This course includes a multiple-choice quiz at the end, which is designed to enhance the understanding of the course materials.
