This course is suitable for electrical engineers with a desire to understand the power transformers protection fundamentals. Presented details include details related to interturn, tank and core faults. Information on over-voltages, magnetizing inrush, overheating is also included. Upon successful completion engineers will be able to address the most important power transformer protection aspects, widely adopted protection schemes and arrangements and their proper application.
This course includes a multiple-choice quiz at the end, which is designed to enhance the understanding of the course materials.
