This course covers how to wire a standard 240x480V-120/240V or 240x480V-120V transformer as an autotransformer in such a way as to power 600 V, single-phase loads. A standard 240x480V-120/240V or 240x480V-120V transformer is often used as a control circuit transformer (CCT) to derive 120 VAC control power from 480 V or 240 V single-phase power, in applications such as industrial control panels, combination lighting contactors, and in motor control center (MCC) cubicles.
This course includes a multiple-choice quiz at the end, which is designed to enhance the understanding of the course materials.
