Learning Units (Hours)
Clifford T Johnson, P.E., CSE
This course will detail a better method of installing AC adapter (power supply) used for charging 12 V batteries. This course has been developed to be easy to read, with many illustrations. It will be of interest to all Home Security System installers and home owners that have or are considering installing a security system that employs large AC power adapters. It should also be interesting to electrical engineers and electricians that may at some time have to install such a system that uses large AC to DC plug-in power supplies. This is a document that would normally only be used for the installation of large AC Adapters used for charging batteries. It also introduces readers to low profile electrical plugs.
This course includes a multiple-choice quiz at the end, which is designed to enhance the understanding of the course materials.
