Lee Layton, PE This 2-hour course contains information about low voltage (600-volt) cables. Basic characteristics of conductors and cables are covered and detailed information about overhead and underground duplex, triplex and quadraplex cables are discussed. The course also includes information about the installation of cables, including voltage drop calculations, fault current calculations, and installation practices. This course is the fourth in a series of four courses about conductor and cables used in the electric utility industry. This course includes a multiple-choice quiz at the end, which is designed to enhance the understanding of the course materials.
