This 3-hour course final volume in a set of five courses on the design of relaying and system protection programs for electric utilities.
This course describes the failure modes for central station generators and large motors and explains how relaying and protection schemes are employed to protect rotating machines.
This series is divided into five separate courses. Each course essentially stands on its own and the courses do not necessarily need to be taken in the order listed. However, for a thorough understanding it makes sense to take the courses are presented.
This course includes a multiple-choice quiz at the end, which is designed to enhance the understanding of the course materials.
