This 4-hour course is part of five-volume series on the U.S. energy markets. This course is the second volume of the five-volume series of courses about the U.S. wholesale electricity markets. This volume describes the wholesale electricity markets in the U.S. The course explains the components of electricity supply and demand and how electricity is generated, transmitted, and delivered to end users. The course also describes the financial market of wholesale electricity generation.
This course includes a multiple-choice quiz at the end, which is designed to enhance the understanding of the course materials.
