This two-hour online course provides a basic overview of Total Productive Maintenance (TPM). TPM is a set of techniques to ensure that every machine in a production process is always ready to perform its required tasks. TPM strives to have equipment in ‘Like New’ condition and has a goal of zero unplanned downtime. Additionally, TPM marries traditional maintenance performed by maintenance technicians with operator-based maintenance to increase the effectiveness of existing preventive maintenance programs.
This course includes a multiple-choice quiz at the end, which is designed to enhance the understanding of the course materials.
