This webinar will focus on designing and executing load tests. The design portion will include factors of safety and how that relates to the actual test load vs. the design load. It will also include a section on checking that the reaction frame and anchors are properly designed for the load being applied. The execution section will include sections on the logistics of setting up the test and performing the test in a safe manner. The performance of the load test follows ASTM D1143, and specific requirements that are required from this standard will be discussed. Finally, the presentation of load test data is described and examples are shared.
