Which ground improvement techniques work best for liquefaction lateral spreading mitigation? This presentation will explore the mechanics of lateral spreading and the critical design aspects involved in the design of ground improvement to counteract it. The efficacy of various ground improvement methods will be illustrated through a project case history.
Keller North America provides a wide range of geotechnical engineering and construction services to improve soils in place and to both construct new and rehabilitate foundations. The techniques that will be discussed include Compaction & Jet Grouting, Earth Retention and Shoring, Vibro Compaction & Replacement, Micropiles, Soil Mixing for Deep Basement Excavations, and Pile Driving.
