During this session the speaker presents geotechnical solutions relevant to structural engineering including appropriateness of and design aspects related to ground improvement techniques such as vibro-compaction, aggregate piers, rigid inclusions and compaction grouting, deep foundations such as underpinning and micropiles, and earth retention such as jet grouting and sheet piling.
