Learning Units (Hours)
Lee Layton, PE
This four-hour course explains how to read and interpret the financial statements of a business enterprise. This is not an accounting course, but accounting is the language of business and it is important for the understanding of the financial well being of a business.
The course reviews the basic financial statements including the balance sheet, income statement, statement of cash flows, and statement of retained earnings, as well as several financial measurements.
This course includes a multiple-choice quiz at the end, which is designed to enhance the understanding of the course materials.
