Managing technical teams can be challenging, as technical staff often have unique motivations, skills, and needs. A manager who can effectively lead and engage technical staff will not only achieve better results, but also create a more positive and productive work environment. This course covers best practices for managing technical staff in areas such as communication and collaboration, performance management and feedback, professional development and career advancement, motivating and engaging technical staff, and conflict resolution and problem-solving. In addition, this course discusses how to manage remote and virtual teams and how to manage changes and adapt to new technologies.
The course has a multiple-choice quiz at the end, which is designed to enhance the understanding of the course materials.
