Mark Rossow, Ph.D., PE Retired
This online engineering PDH course describes the ethical aspects of stealing trade secrets. Actual cases of trade secret theft that have been successfully prosecuted by agencies of the U.S. federal government are presented. The ethical—rather than legal—aspects of these cases are developed by identifying specific passages in published Standards of Conduct for professional engineers that were violated by the engineers who were found guilty of theft.
This course includes a multiple-choice quiz at the end, which is designed to enhance the understanding of the course materials.
NY PE & PLS: You must choose courses that are technical in nature or related to matters of laws and ethics contributing to the health and welfare of the public.
