As part of the evolutionary process of the planar open-web joist, in this course the reader will see a new step in that evolution which we have called the three-dimensional truss system, as well as all the inherent benefits that come with it.
The three dimensional truss system is able to reach very long spans and wider spacing in between, added to the fact that the trusses are stable and self-standing without the need for temporary shoring or bracings.
Although the best application for these trusses is the single span, their use can be expanded to multiple and continuous spans as dictated by the user’s needs.
This course includes a multiple-choice quiz at the end, which is designed to enhance the understanding of the course materials.
