Course Outline

provides criteria for the design of building joints and for the selection of
sealants to prevent entry of water, air, dust, light, or sound through the joints.
The contents also cover joint movement, approximate joint dimensions, joint
size, materials, and selection of sealants. The course materials are based entirely
on the Technical Manual TM 5-805-6 of Department of the Army USA: Joint Sealing
for Buildings This course includes a multiple-choice quiz at the end, which
is designed to enhance the understanding of course materials.
