This five-hour online course is only an introduction of many practical concepts utilized in Project Management, but even as a level course, therefore, covers the fundamental theory, tailored for beginners, students, engineers, technicians, land surveyors, architects, contractors or anyone who would like to become a project leader or manage their projects more efficiently.

At the conclusion of this course, the student will:
- Understand the concepts and parameters used in project management;
- Understand the concepts and parameters used in planning and management application methods;
- Understand the concepts and parameters used in industrial production, quality systems and specialized life cycle methods;
- Understand the common terms usually used for management technologies;
- Know the meaning and application of phases, communication plans and transferring information;
- Be able to learn and recognize the importance of project management in our society, due its huge use in engineering and industrial production;
- Know the basic comprehension of the terms generally used by certified and qualified personnel in project management;
- Be able to learn the concepts used in Project Management Body of Knowledge (PMBOK) and to increase the recognition of Project Management as a career field;
- Recognize project characteristics, life cycle, team members, planning checklist, project constraints, management triangle and phases of a project;
- Know the minimum concepts of management knowledge areas, stakeholders, deliverables, control charts, Gannt diagrams and project schedulling; and
- Understand how to apply the project stages, origination, initiation, planning, execution and control and closeout.

This course is intended for everyone, women or men, begginers, students, technicians, land surveyors, architects, engineers, contractors and professionals interested or working with project management or manage projects more effectively.
