Mr. Thompson is a licensed Professional Engineer in several states. Mr. Thompson began his engineering career in 1989. His primary field of expertise is in machine design. He has extensive experience designing manufacturing equipment for a variety of industies, including the automotive, appliance, and electronics industries. He also has experience in the design of small steel structures such as cranes, hoists, and overhead walkways. He has been employed by several original equipment manufacturers, both large and small, and since 2001 has been the owner of a contract design engineering firm.
