Buildings located in coastal areas are susceptible to natural hazards such as storms, waves and flooding. Therefore, coastal construction requirements are different from those for inland construction. This course discusses the characteristics that make for a successful coastal building. It also includes a multiple-choice quiz at the end, which is designed to enhance the understanding of course materials
