Electricity usage and the environment are two sides of the same coin. Three technologies, nuclear, wind, and solar are currently best positioned to make green contributions to the electric power sector. This course will examine the operating principles for those technologies and their status in the energy sector. It will also highlight the pros and cons of the three technologies and identify potential issues associated with reaching desired energy and environmental goals.
This course includes a multiple-choice quiz at the end, which is designed to enhance the understanding of the course materials.
