This four-hour course is an overview of how coal-fired power plants operate. The course goes into detail about the US coal industry and gives a detailed look at each of the components in a modern coal-fired steam plant. In addition, some of the environmental concerns with coal-fired steam plants are discussed.
This course includes a multiple-choice quiz at the end, which is designed to enhance the understanding of the course materials.
