The content of the course covers different gas and vapor power cycles like Rankine cycle, Brayton cycle, Otto Cycle, Diesel Cycle and Dual Cycle. Based on these cycles practical systems like thermal power plant, air craft engine, gas turbine power plant, Automobile engines work. Hence the thermodynamic knowledge of these power cycles helps to understand the practical cycles.
