This course was made as a reference with helpful and easily-accessible definitions on how to effectively design and build Gas Insulated Substations (GIS). Recommendations are based on relevant industry standards but also include real life experience and the proven industry practice. Course includes description of specific design considerations, operation and maintenance aspects and financial points that are necessary for successful implementation of GIS technology.
