The design and construction of the building HVAC system can have a significant impact on the building’s comfort and energy consumption. If you are building a new facility or doing a major renovation to an existing one, this course can help you make design decisions that can improve the overall comfort and energy performance.
This 4- hour course describes the fundamentals of heating and cooling load calculations, load reduction strategies, code references, useful equations and the design decisions that lie behind these equations.
The course includes a multiple-choice quiz at the end, which is designed to enhance the understanding of the course materials.
